Creative Dance Arts is a non-competitive school providing quality dance education to the Clifton Park area for the past 36 years. The warm and welcoming atmosphere is ideal for the beginning student as well as the accomplished dancer. Tights orders and payments are due by January 21st. Everyone needs a new pair of tights for recital with the exception of classes with long pants costumes.
January 28th & 29th, Shake the winter blues with guest tap artist Stefanie Weber and Trombonist Mike Fahn as they share their creative process in “Sole & Bone”. Hailing from Brooklyn & the Berkshires, Weber & Fahn will perform their two person show and provide master classes. More details to follow….
March 3rd & 4th, Celebrate National Women’s History Month with one of todays most dynamic, edgy female tap dancers. Barbara Duffy, hailed as “A riveting performer” (Independent UK, London) and “one of the most inventive tappers around” according to the late Gregory Hines, is a highly sought after master teacher. Teaching at numerous workshops & festivals in over 20 countries around the world, Barbara will bring her highly sophisticated approach to music & tap to the Capital Region for the first time in a weekend long festival of classes, a tap jam & more.

Dance themed birthday parties are held regularly at the studio. 1.5 hours includes guided instruction, creative movement, songs and dance, followed by refreshments, presents and social time. Themes include “Imagination Celebration”, “Prima Ballerina”, “Jump Jivin Jazz”, “High School Musical” and more! For information or to book a party, call the studio.
